Recreational Therapy
Also known as therapeutic recreation, is a process that utilizes recreation and other activity interventions for individuals with disabilities, illness who require psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being. This type of therapy is intended to rehabilitate functioning and independence in life activities. The goal is to reduce or eliminate activity limitations and restrictions so the individual can participate in life situations to their fullest ability.
